Sales Management

Sales management  as the word suggests,is the management of sales operations of a firm using several sales techniques . It is an important business function as net sales through the sale of products and services and resulting profit drive most commercial business. These are also typically the goals and performance indicators of sales management.

Although from common sense the process would begin from when the consumer buys the good from a retailer( shop or at a bar). The sales proceeds would then be passed on to the next middleman and so on in the distribution chain wherein it reaches the Companys sales team who then feed in the details on the system( through an MIS{management information system}) and the database is maintained. Which is analysed by the sales management cateogory analyzers who in turn adjust the movement of goods based on the requirements.
