Distribution Decision

Distribution is the process of making a product or service available for use or consumption by a consumer or business user, using direct means, or using indirect means with intermediaries. And deciding on which path to take would be the distribution decision.

The options available to Carlsberg -

Carlsberg being a large company with extensive operations would require a larger distribution channel. Hence the longest distribution channel would take place, which is,from producer to agent to wholesaler to retail to consumer! phew.

"Carlsberg’s visual identity has been modernised, distribution channels are being widened and a completely new range of packaging is being rolled out across more than 140 markets." This was a statement on the website which implies it plans to grow further and make a change in its functioning.
